BELD Receives National Commendation

BELD Receives National Commendation from American Public Power Association for electric restoration efforts in the city or Bartow, Fl in response to Hurricane Ian.

On 8/30, BELD sent two crews and bucket trucks to assist in Bartow, Fl, which suffered widespread damage and electrical outages due to Ian.

“Mutual aid is one of the many benefits of being a public power provider” said Bill Bottiggi, General Manager of BELD. “Knowing we have a network to call upon when needed is just one of the many benefits of being your public power provider!”
