Notice to Our Customers: Higher Bills Due to Increased Usage

We hope you have been staying cool during these recent hot weeks! We want to take a moment to address something you may notice on your upcoming electric bill.

Due to the recent high temperatures, we’ve seen an increase in electricity usage across Braintree as air conditioners and fans work harder to keep our homes comfortable. As a result, your bill may be higher than usual.

We want to assure you that BELD has not increased our rates, which remain among the lowest in the state at approximately 15.5 cents per kilowatt-hour. The higher bill is simply a reflection of increased usage due to the heat, not any changes in our pricing or issues with our metering system.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to help! 781.348.BELD (2353)

Stay cool Braintree!
