BELD’s 2025 three-member Municipal Light Board:
Daniel Morrissey, Thomas Reynolds, and Anthony Agnitti

BELD is excited to welcome Daniel Morrissey as the newest commissioner of the Light Board. With decades of experience in the municipal electric industry and a strong commitment to public service, Daniel brings valuable expertise and leadership to BELD.

A Braintree resident for 30 years, Daniel has dedicated his career to public power. Since 1987, he has been a key figure in Norwood Light Department’s operations and currently serves as their Chief Operating Officer, overseeing reliable electricity for the community.

BELD GM Bill Bottiggi welcomed Daniel, stating, “Daniel’s experience and dedication to public service will be a great asset to BELD and Braintree. We look forward to his leadership in ensuring reliable service and low rates for our community.”
