Beware of Third-PartyBill Pay Websites Like Doxo

Some Braintree residents have been misled by Doxo.com, a third-party bill payment site that may appear in search results for BELD.

While Doxo does eventually send payments, using it comes with problems:

  • Extra charges you wouldn’t pay on BELD’s payment site
  • Delayed payments, which can lead to late fees
  • Misleading design, making it look like an official BELD webportal

To avoid issues:

  • Always go directly to the official BELD website: beld.com
  • Bookmark myelectric.beld.com and double-check the URL before paying.
  • Never trust a link from a search engine without confirming it’s legit—Doxo may show up in search results.

Help spread the word. If you’ve had an issue with Doxo, email us at and let us know.
